A hand! Wave me over the goblins. I do the smashing.
About the game
Goblin Smasher is an incremental game about one hammer and a great many goblins.
You don't click. You move the mouse over the goblins and the hammer comes down on them by itself. A day lasts well under a minute. When the sun sets you carry the gold back to the War Tree, buy a little more damage or a wider swing, and start the next day.
The first morning in Muddy Meadows has about five goblins on it. By the Throne of Gob the field holds thousands, and one swing flattens hundreds of them. Between the two sit eight lands, ten hammers and a goblin warlord at every gate.
Each land has its own goblins and its own material to collect. The folk you free there build something for you on the field: a minecart line that rolls over the horde, quicksand that swallows it, a war bell that freezes it solid. There is no way to lose. Every day pays, and every upgrade makes the next one bigger, louder and sillier.
SHORT DESCRIPTION (FROM STEAM)
Hover over goblins and your hammer smashes them. Start with a handful in a quiet meadow and end with thousands on one screen. Liberate 8 goblin lands, build their landmarks, wield 10 legendary hammers and topple the Goblin King in a crunchy pixel-art incremental.
The story
The narrator is Thumper, a grumpy war mallet who flattened the last Goblin King a hundred years ago and has been stuck in a stump ever since. You pull him out. The goblins are in the turnips again, so he gets to work.
By the third land something is off. The goblins aren't raiding. They are digging, on royal orders, toward the Crown Anvil where Thumper was forged. A crown struck on that anvil would bind every goblin in the world to the King. The story is told two or three lines at a time, between swings. Nobody gives a speech.
THE KING
KNEEL.
THUMPER
I'm a hammer. I don't have knees.
Eight lands, eight warlords
Each land grows wider as you take it. The camera pulls back twice inside every land, and each new one opens bigger than the last.

What's in it
Hover to smash. The hammer swings, you aim. Combos speed it up, and every fifty in a row it pulls a finisher.
A real horde. Land by land the field fills with small goblins pouring out of burrows. By the end there are thousands on screen, and a single hit takes out hundreds.
10 hammers. Forged one at a time at the Anvil, each with its own swing, a signature move and up to ten levels of tempering.
12 landmarks. Built by the folk of each land and drawn in pixel art that changes with every level.
A War Tree of 91 nodes and nearly 700 upgrade levels, plus 21 strikes, 18 talents, 16 relics and four land powers.
Warlords that fight back. Each boss hides behind war banners, and the banners get trickier from land to land: they spin, run, burrow, get carried off and get planted again.
Autosmash for idle days, offline tribute from freed lands, or play every swing yourself.
42 Steam achievements and an Endless Horde after the credits.
